SkyBox International was a prominent trading card company founded in 1990, known for its innovative designs and contributions to the hobby. In 1995, it was acquired by Marvel Entertainment, and later merged with Fleer to form Fleer/SkyBox International. In 2005, Upper Deck acquired the rights to the Fleer name and began producing Fleer-branded cards. Today, the SkyBox brand is used by Upper Deck for special releases, continuing its legacy in the trading card industry.
